This pizza was delicious (as was the carrot cake!). The pizza tastes like you are in Italy. The staff is wonderful. If you want pizza, this is a must-do on Kauai! It's under new ownership. We ordered take-away. We're so happy with the food, and visiting with staff while we waited. 5 stars.

First time (and first day) in Hawaii and had a friend back home recommend Hideaways Pizza. Surprisingly slow for a dinner time, but overhear waitstaff saying the summer vacation rush was pretty much over. We ordered a couple of beers and a Caesar salad to share, then a 14” supreme pizza. Everything was very good and the atmosphere was quiet. Got a good view of the sunset over the ocean from our table. Would recommend if you’re in Princeville/Hanalei.

My husband and I stayed nearby at the 1 hotel and were looking for good pizza in the area. We found Hideaways on google and decided to stroll over to check it out. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated immediately. Our server told us upfront there were only two people working (the cook and himself) that evening and to expect a wait. We didn't mind since we had nothing to do and weren't extremely hungry at the moment. We received our drinks promptly and food order taken quickly. As expected, the pizza took a while to come out, I don't know how long because we were not in a rush so I never bothered to check the time. Once our pizza arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The sauce was fabulous with great flavor, the crust was a mix between pan and hand tossed. Just the right amount of crisp. I rated our overall experience as 5 stars but a few things should be noted with regards to service. Our service/host/cook (or whoever he was that night) took way too much time chatting with another group sitting nearby. Multiple times he stood at that table and was fixated on whatever they were discussing at length. Several times during our dinner, we could not get his attention, he simply never turned our way. The entire time we ate, I never had my water refilled, we never had silverware, and we never had napkins. It wasn't until the end of our dinner that we caught his attention and asked for napkins. As for my water, I had to drink my husbands since mine was empty and I was very thirsty. So a note to the owner, I understand being chatty with the customers, but when short staffed, I recommend limiting excessive multiple table side chats when the entire restaurant requires your attention as well. Still rating a 5 because the pizza was the best I found on the north shore.

Hideaways Pizza Pub was all around fantastic! The staff was super friendly and we got our food quickly. I loved the mid-2000s music they were playing. My wife and I shared an appetizer and pizza. Cranberry and Pear Salad: this salad was delicious! The "appetizer" size fed two people perfectly. We substituted feta for the blue cheese, and the cranberries, pears, walnuts and balsamic vinaigrette were amazing! The Hawaiian Pizza: this pizza really hit the spot! We both commented on how good the crust tasted, toasted to perfection. Overall, a solid pizza!

The person who provided us the service was very nice. The Vegetarian Pizza was very tasty. They have extended hrs that started today(16th Dec 2024). First time visiting Kauai and highly recommend this if you are I. Princeville area.

Hideaways is always the first place we get pizza from when we come to Kauai and we typically end up getting it more than once when we are on this incredible island. I had it for the first time over 10 years ago and all this time later, it seems to get better each time. The ingredients/toppings are always very fresh, the crust is a fantastic combination of fluffy & crunchy and the undercarriage always has a perfect char. Their carry out service is amazing as well. We had some friends arrive on the island later than expected and even being within 15 minutes of closing, they were happy to take our order.

Awesome little restaurant! The pizzas were yummy (I grabbed a second one a few nights later for takeout). They were short staffed (only one waitress working while we were there), but that waitress was amazing. She was super helpful, really friendly, and was busting her butt to get everyone taken care of. I’d definitely go back again.

Pizza is very good. Sounds like they import the dough from Italy. Crisp and tasty. There was a bit of a wait after we ordered the pizza, about 30-40 minutes, but not a big deal. Pizza was very fresh.
